Quick dot mani for myself

After I finished my friend Kim's mani, I decided my chipping Nail Envy hardener needed lacquer on top.

I used this polish, which I can't recall the name of now:

And one last photo:

BFF dot mani!

Long time no post! Let's get right down to it. I did a manicure for my friend Kim and it turned out pretty good!

She had a bunch of old polishes I used and didn't document what they were, sorry lol. But I think they turned out fun! She wanted lightning bolts but I wasn't able to do them as prettily as I woulda liked :(

But she loved it! She's the manager of a kitchen so it didn't last too long but she enjoyed it :)

It's been a while and contest winner!

I'm so so sorry it's been a while since I posted! I've been so busy the past few weeks it's overwhelming and quite annoying! Anyway, you may remember this blog post I put up a little while ago to try to win this contest on Veronica's blog! Well, I won! :) I never win anything so I was really very excited!

I received my prize in the mail really quickly,

Color Club Wild and Willing, China Glaze Bahamian Escape, Nina Ultra Pro Molten Gold, Revlon Whimsical, and Seche Vite

 With this great letter inside:
:)

I ended up using only 3 of the polishes from the collection for my first mani with them.

Color Club Wild and Willing, China Glaze Bahamian Escape, and Nina Ultra Pro Molten Gold.

So I got to work right away on creating a mani with my prize polishes! This was also the first time I've ever owned a China Glaze (GASP) I LOVE it! I was also very busy with writing papers and being generally flustered with homework and tests so I didn't have time to really sit there for a few hours like I like to and come up with something grand. I liked what I came up with, I just wish I'd had more time to get my creative juices flowing. This is what I did:

I used China Glaze Bahamian Escape on all my fingers, with an accent nail of Color Club's Wild and Willing. I used Nina Ultra Pro Molten Gold with plate BM15 to stamp and topped off all nails with my already opened bottle of Seche Vite (saving my prize bottle until I need it ;P)

I enjoy how sheer the stamp came out, but it also made it near impossible to get a good, visible photo. It's very delicate and pretty. I enjoyed this mani :)

Gradient Fail

So, I know it has been a while since I posted.. but I have a new camera and I'm able to post nail art again! :D this week has been hectic. 4 research papers due and 2 midterms. Crazyyyyyy. So I haven't had time to sit down and really get into a mani like I like to do. But I'm still going to post this cause I like the texture that came from it.

I used, Essie Aruba Blue, Essie Go Overboard and Essie Ole Caliente for the gradient. I put this gradient on top of SinfulColors Snow Me White. I decided to top it off with NYC Matte Me Crazy. The texture is awesome! It looks like Easter eggshells you color! So neat :)

It didn't turn out to be a clean and nice mani, but it's funky so I'll keep it :) I also used a striper brush for the white line across using SinfulColors Snow Me White.

This is the sponge I used, just a regular makeup wedge.

That's it for today! Enjoy :)

Broken and flustered!

Guys, I'm so so sorry I haven't posted in a very long time! My camera is broken so I can't even post my nail art anymore :( I finished midterms and got caught up on the homework I missed while I was in and out of minor surgeries and upkeep for my cyst. I'm okay now and all is good. I'm still doing nail art, but a fat lot of good that does since I can't photograph it and post to show you! A new camera is on my Christmas List believe that! ;)

Your girl has worked DAMN HARD for those grades! Be happy for me :)

So this post will be just a bunch of randomness. Lets brush up on what it means to be a busty girl in every day life (non artificial).

Does anyone else do this ALL THE TIME? Well, I do. But! Having giant weights on your front isn't always a bad thing:

Just be careful when doing this with chocolate ;) I also use my obsession for obscenely large purses to get away with this absurd rule. I mean really, who wouldn't think it's brilliant to hit up a Dollar Tree and buy the boxed candy for $1 that the theatre tries to sell to you for 6 times that? Anyways, these comics are wonderful, check them out at http://bustygirlcomics.com/

I just had my first experience today at an anime convention. Now, I'm not really big on anime, in fact I don't watch it at all. Nor do I read mangas. The only anime I've ever touched on was the Peach Girl mangas when I was a teen. While those were fascinating for my naive mind, I haven't really found the desire to have anything more to do with the culture in my adult life. However, I am a nerd in all things superheros and video games. So I definitely enjoyed the cosplay. I also picked up a beautiful set of handcrafted chopsticks, now I don't have to eat with the splintery ones the takeout restaurants send home with you while my boyfriend uses his beautiful set he picked up in Singapore when he was in the Navy. :)

One of my favorite comic characters is Deadpool.

There was some AMAZING Deadpool cosplay today. There was even a mom, dad and little boy dressed as a Deadpool family! So awesome :) I'm a very, VERY big people watcher so this event was like a gold mine for me.

Now to leave you with a laugh:
